I'm Jess. I talk too much. I'm a gemini in every sense of the word. I like poetry and blueberries and keeping the fan on at night. I sing and I pretend to play the ukelele and I don't have an incredibly unique taste in music. I like da boys and I like da girls. Once upon a time, I was a dancer. I make jewelry, but not very well. My car is covered in bumper stickers and I decorate everything I own. I drink too much tea and spend more time with cats than I do with humans. I'm a college student, but I appreciate being at home just as much as I appreciate being on campus. I'm learning how to just live; it's taken me awhile. I'm fascinated with water and mermaids and nature in general. I still adore stuffed animals and get scared at night. I love wildflowers and freckles and disney movies and inspirational words and musicals and my best friends. I think that relationships with other human beings are the most important thing we have, and that they should be handled carefully. Mostly, I just talk too much.

So I’m sitting alone by the lake. The weather is beautiful, I’m wearing a cozy sweatshirt. I’m barefoot with my kindle and a bottle of water, and everything is perfect. But I can’t help but think that this would be the best time to have a really long phone conversation with someone important.
